Services

We are a semi-mobile veterinary ophthalmology service. We offer a unique and valuable resource to clients on Vancouver Island and the lower mainland by bringing high quality eye care to several satellite locations.

We offer initial consultations, recheck examinations, minor outpatient procedures and some extraocular surgeries at our satellite locations in Qualicum Beach, Vancouver and Surrey.

We treat patients requiring more involved care, such as cataract removal, glaucoma surgery, retinopexy surgery, or corneal repair. However, these services are only offered at a fixed location in Victoria, BC due to the inability to move the delicate surgical equipment required for these procedures.

Having multiple options for locations ensures convenience and decreases the need for pet owners to travel long distances and endure the stress of transporting their animals.

By offering services in a variety of locations, we aim to foster stronger bonds between veterinarians, pet owners, and the greater community.

Electroretinogram (ERG) which measures electrical responses in the retina and aids in diagnosing various retinal diseases

Cryosurgical unit for minimally invasive treatment of eyelid masses, distichia, trichiasis and ectopic cilia
Diode laser for the treatment of glaucoma, some ocular tumors and retinal diseases
Operating microscope and ophthalmic surgical instruments to perform delicate intraocular and corneal surgery

Equine Consultations

Equine consultations are available at an equine facility or on-farm.
